Courtney Michalec Biography

Courtney Michalec joined Wright & Associates in 2010 after beginning her career at a small litigation firm in Lewiston, Maine, where she represented clients in a variety of areas, including personal injury, product and premises liability, criminal defense and family law matters.  She handled administrative hearings, trials and appeals, and now focuses her practice exclusively on civil litigation matters, including products liability and asbestos cases.

Detailed bio:

Prior to beginning her litigation practice, Courtney also served as a Law Clerk for several justices of the Maine Superior Court in Cumberland and York Counties.  While attending the University of Maine School of Law, she served as a Legal Writing Instructor, Co-Chair of the Class of 2006 Moot Court Board, and a member of the Trial Team. Upon her graduation, Courtney received the Gignoux Award for Appellate Advocacy and the Faculty Award for Trial Advocacy.
