Since 1992, Wright & Associates has provided comprehensive local, regional and national litigation and legal administration services to a variety of corporate, insurance and individual clients. The firm blends local pragmatism with national experience at the trial and appellate levels in both federal and state courts, and works closely with and appears before administrative and regulatory agencies. Areas of practice include environmental law and compliance, toxic torts, hazardous waste, products liability, premises liability, and asbestos law.

 

For more than 25 years, Steven Wright has served as national coordinating, regional, settlement and trial counsel for a number of defendants involved in asbestos-related litigation, both personal injury and property damage. He has appeared, and tried cases, in over 20 states, in both federal and state courts. Mr. Wright has personally negotiated settlements of tens of thousands of cases regionally and nationally, thus relieving clients from litigation costs. Initially specializing in shipyard based litigation, Mr. Wright now represents building products and equipment manufacturers, building owners and some peripheral manufacturers who merely utilized asbestos components in some of their products, or used asbestos products made by others in fulfilling contracts.

 

Wright has represented clients in the various massive consolidations, including Georgine, Abate and Abate II-Baltimore city consolidations.

 

Wright has been asked to speak often on litigation topics at meetings and seminars, conducting training programs and lectures throughout the country. He has often been called upon to develop innovative strategies for sensibly resolving complex problems in a variety of settings.

Prior to joining Wright & Associates, Anna’s accomplishments as an attorney in Maine included arguing four cases before the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Her prior experience includes the handling of multiple depositions of medical and labor market experts.  After spending several years handling workers' compensation and social security disability cases, Anna joined Wright & Associates.  She now focuses on civil litigation, products liability, toxic torts, and asbestos law.

Beth has extensive litigation experience in a variety of practice areas. Prior to joining Wright & Associates, she practiced solo for ten years focusing primarily on juvenile justice issues, but also frequently working on complex civil litigation matters in a supporting capacity as contract and local counsel. Her practice now focuses on civil litigation, products liability, toxic torts, and asbestos law.
